"Skinny Vinny" | Co-Founder, The Comeback SL

For years, Vinny battled severe addiction, homelessness, and hopelessness with no real intention of changing. At his lowest point, he spent years living out of a porta-potty and eventually made his way to Los Angeles, where he lived on Skid Row while struggling to survive.

Like many caught in addiction, Vinny cycled through failed attempts at getting sober and felt completely lost. What once seemed impossible slowly became possible when he finally entered sober living in 2018 and committed to rebuilding his life from the ground up.

Through recovery, structure, accountability, and purpose, Vinny was able to transform his life entirely. Now with years of continuous sobriety, he has dedicated his life to helping others find the same hope and freedom that was once given to him.

As Co-Founder of The Comeback, Vinny's mission is to create a safe, supportive environment where people can heal, rebuild confidence, and rediscover who they truly are. Using both lived experience and years within the recovery community, he strives to connect with others through authenticity, honesty, and understanding.

Alongside his work in recovery, Vinny has also built a career in media and content creation, using storytelling and real-life experiences to inspire people from all walks of life.

Today, his message is simple: no matter how far gone someone may feel, a comeback is always possible.

The Comeback Story

Fast forward over 8 years, and Vinny has maintained full sobriety while rebuilding his life, career, and purpose. What once felt impossible became the foundation for an entirely new chapter—one built on resilience, creativity, and growth.

Through filmmaking, content creation, and years of hands-on experience in recovery, Vinny has built a career centered around storytelling, connection, and helping others see that change is possible no matter how far gone things may seem.

His work has spanned multiple creative projects, podcasts, digital media platforms, and productions, allowing him to combine entertainment with authenticity and lived experience.

In 2023, Vinny stepped into a larger role in the podcast and media space, continuing to appear across numerous projects while using his platform to inspire others through honesty, humor, and vulnerability.

Today, that same journey has led to the creation of The Comeback—a place built on the belief that no matter how hard life hits, anyone has the ability to rise, recover, and rebuild.
